Each year I make my winter berry syrup. This year I decided not only to use elderberry which are packed with lots of vitamin c and other wonderful properties to help our immune system but I also included lots of fresh ginger, lemon, my dads honey, cardamom, chamomile, star anise, cinnamon, turmeric, hibiscus and cloves. I make mine over 24 hours period so it’s a true labour of love. I filled all my bottles, ice trays but I still had some left so filled some ice cube bags too. It’s my staple supplement over the winter time. I use it in my porridge, smoothies or just as a hot drink. Would you like to try some? 🌺

On Monday we all went to a nearby woods. We’ve lived in this area for the last four years and we didn’t know about this hidden gem. We love exploring our surroundings and we are very fortunate to have so many beautiful walks on our doorstep. It was so peaceful and solely for us to enjoy. The smell reminded me of my salt soaps - lavender, geranium and lemon. I hope you enjoy the little reel and hopefully it will bring you a little joy. What is your favourite walk? Today is an Earth Day and what a great day to make one little change in your life. Very easy switch from your hand wash in a plastic bottle to a beautiful soap 🥰 You won’t regret it and you never know, it might lead to bigger changes and it gives you the push to do more. Reducing plastic doesn’t need to be difficult, using soap with a natural sponge is so simple. Give it a go! I will reward you with a little guest salt soap as a Thank you! Happy Easter everyone! I love Easter in England as in Czech tradition Pomlázky are braided whips made from pussy-willow twigs and colorful ribbons, which are used by boys (and sometimes men) to chase and gently whip girls and women on Easter Monday morning while chanting “Hody, hody doprovody, dejte vejce malovaný,” a rhyme requesting eggs from the girls in return. To clarify (as I sense your bewilderment), it’s a centuries-old playful tradition said to bring health and fertility to those whipped; therefore, to be on the receiving end does have some benefit! So even tho I haven’t got a willow plat I would like to wish you all the health and playful happiness for the forthcoming months and a big thank you for all the continues support.
A small swap with a big result! One thing you can do for yourself is to treat your biggest organ with respect. Your skin is the biggest organ of your body. We are more and more focused on what we eat and that we drink enough water. We try to educate ourselves about the benefits of certain foods and vitamins, the benefits of staying hydrated. But do we do the same for our skin? Are we truly aware of the ingredients in our shower gels? Do we question the advertising slogans big companies present us with? My claim and my advertising is simple. The ingredients in my soaps are just oils and butters mixed with sodium hydroxide to turn them into a soap. I use only natural clays, herbs and spices to colour them. They are scented with blends of essential oils to provide beautiful aromas and benefit your mind too. My claim is the simplicity! There is no need to add chemicals to harden my bars as I leave them to cure for eight weeks and I get the same result - long lasting soap. My claim is the ecological impact my soaps have. No plastic bottles, no neon colours, no artificial scent, no gimmicks. I’m just an honest maker with honest products with lots of passion for what I do. Martina x

Perhaps not today, but I can definitely feel spring is on it’s way 🌼 It’s time to think about the warm sunny days that are coming. So………. Don’t forget that you can use the salt soap as a shaving soap. Salt soaps lather slightly differently to an ordinary soap. Bubbles are tighter and the lather lasts for a lot longer which is perfect for shaving.
I was given some beautiful flowers some time ago but few of them are now looking but tired. Instead of just throwing them you can dry them in microwave. In just minutes they ready and will last as a decoration for months.

The importance of slowing down. This morning I set myself a list with lots of little jobs to do and I was determined to get everything ticked off on the list. I can be very impatient person and trying to squeeze in the impossible. As a result I forgot I was making my late breakfast and set the fire alarm off, the dog went mad, the kitchen was full of smoke and I spent 30 min just trying to rectify my attempt of doing toooooo much. I feel like it’s well overdue for me to introduce myself! My name is Martina. 🌼 I’m originally from a little village in the Czech Republic 🇨🇿 I first came to England 26 years ago and have proudly made it my home. I live on the Suffolk/Norfolk border with my husband Ben, our dog Fergus and one very opinionated cat Merlin 🐶🐈 My passion for soap making started 6 years ago and it has become my world. I enjoy using rich butters, oils and lye and enjoy mixing them with natural colourants like clays or spices to create combinations that are not only beautiful to look at, but kind to the skin at the same time. ☺️ I try to be mindful of the impact I have on our beautiful planet although its not always easy to follow but every bit helps I feel by making small steps you still can make difference. 🌍 I’m constantly perfecting my craft and developing new exciting recipes. There is a wonderful element of playfulness and experimentation with soap making which is so much fun. This year I’ll expand my range with some new body butters, balms and creams. Those who’ve met me will be able to tell you, I can talk for an hour about my soaps. I’m always happy to answer any questions about them or about my balms. It gives me an opportunity to show off my products and hopefully get more people excited about using cosmetics which are that little bit more friendly to your skin and the planet.

We are all getting ready for Christmas and yes I’m guilty of getting the hound this jumper 🤦🏻‍♀️ There are still couple of gifts available and if you are local to me I can deliver them this Saturday. On Sunday I’m in Norwich and that is the last chance to get some of the soaps as stock levels are getting really low.

In one of my many boxes, of Christmas decorations, was hiding this tired and very old wreath. I use to love it but it was falling apart. I dried some hydrangea last year and it wasn’t looking it’s best either, but when I put all the bits together they became this little cutie! 🥰

My Story

Hi, I’m Martina — founder, maker and the heart behind Infused with Kindness.

From my home in the Suffolk countryside, I create natural skincare and wellbeing products inspired by my love of plants, essential oils and the belief that taking a little time to care for ourselves really matters.

Infused with Kindness began during lockdown in 2020. What started with a few oils and butters gradually grew into a range of handcrafted natural skincare, soaps and aromatherapy products.

From making to caring

My love of natural ingredients gradually led me into the wider world of wellbeing and the importance of caring for ourselves as a whole.

I have now completed my qualifications in Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage and Facial Treatments, and I am currently studying Reflexology.

It feels like a natural next chapter for Infused with Kindness — bringing together the oils, botanicals, aromas and philosophy behind my products with personalised treatments that give you time to slow down, switch off and simply be.

Kindness at the heart

Whether I’m making a botanical skincare product or welcoming someone into my treatment room, my approach is the same: thoughtful, personal and never rushed.

My treatments are adapted to the individual, while my products continue to be carefully handmade by me in small batches using thoughtfully selected ingredients.

For me, self-care doesn’t need to be complicated or extravagant. Sometimes it is simply giving yourself permission to stop for a while and let somebody else take care of you.

The next chapter

Infused with Kindness began with natural skincare, but today it has grown into something more.

Kindness to your skin.
Kindness to your body.
Kindness to your mind.
And a little time to simply be.

Because sometimes the person who needs a little kindness most is you.
